報(bào)告人簡(jiǎn)介：
Alfred Stein教授是空間統(tǒng)計(jì)與圖像分析的教授和博士生導(dǎo)師，也是荷蘭統(tǒng)計(jì)與運(yùn)營協(xié)會(huì)和荷蘭皇家數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)的成員。Stein教授的研究工作主要集中在時(shí)空數(shù)據(jù)的統(tǒng)計(jì)分析，包括時(shí)空最優(yōu)采樣、遙感影像分析和時(shí)空統(tǒng)計(jì)。應(yīng)用領(lǐng)域是農(nóng)業(yè)、自然植被、健康、城市和使用、沿海系統(tǒng)、災(zāi)害和野生動(dòng)植物建模的統(tǒng)計(jì)方面。
Stein教授創(chuàng)辦并主編了《Spatial Statistics》期刊，是時(shí)空統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)領(lǐng)域的全球領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者，收錄了大量時(shí)空統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)領(lǐng)域的高質(zhì)量學(xué)術(shù)論文。他還是《Environmental and Ecological Statistics》雜志創(chuàng)始編委，《Soil and Tillage Research》雜志副主編，《Statistica Neerlandica》、《Geoderma》、《International Journal of Applied Geoinformation and Earth》原主編、《Journal of Agricultural,Biological and Environmental Statistics》原副主編以及多篇學(xué)術(shù)期刊編委。Stein教授在時(shí)空統(tǒng)計(jì)、遙感影像分析、空間不確定性分析與建模等相關(guān)領(lǐng)域發(fā)表論文300余篇。
報(bào)告摘要：
Methods in spatial statistics allow us to make new steps in remote sensing image analysis. A critical issue when using images in deterministic modeling is their spatial data quality. Images are characterized by their spatial resolution, radiometric resolution, spectral resolution and temporal resolution. In this presentation, the focus will be on changes in spatial resolution, i.e. up- and downscaling. Downscaling cokriging has been available for this purpose, while new developments, in particular Poisson cokriging [1], offer new opportunities. Poisson cokriging deals with the count nature of the data, and is able to include explanatory variables. It allows us to address spatial risks. These developments are interesting as well in a wider GIS context, e.g. health studies.
