Sven E. J?rgensen教授（丹麥哥本哈根大學）1975年創建了國際學術期刊《Ecological Modelling: International Journal of Ecological Modelling and Systems Ecology》，現任國際生態建模協會（International Society for Ecological Modelling）主席、歐洲科學院院士和國際期刊《Ecological Indicators》副主編。
