題目：Economic Geography in Germany: Changes in the way of thinking over half a century, from the 1960s to 2010
Prof. Dr. Eike W. Schamp is a professor of economic geography at Frankfurt University and the former member of the Steering Committee of Commission on The Dynamics of Economic Spaces, International Geographical Union. He still continues to steer a working group doing empirical research in various fields of economic geography. The main topic is economic globalisation in a geographical perspective. Current research topics include the contribution of large and small-scale enterprises to regional development, spatial processes of restructuring in manufacturing industries, governance in global value chains, restructuring of the financial sector and financial centers, and, last but not least, spatial aspects in a ‘geography of knowledge processes’ and their contribution to metropolitan economies. Area studies are currently done in Germany, Jordan and French speaking Africa (Cameroon).
